What our customers say

A truly wonderful, magical and special place. My daughter and I booked a two night stay, which we extended to four nights, then cancelled other plans to come back for another 4 nights. Every single detail has been thought of. We initially stated in The Treehouse, then the Apple Wagon, both meticulously and sympathetically restored using reclaimed and beautiful pieces by Wilderley's host, Celeste. From Alpaca walks, to feeding the ducks and chickens to sharing our leftovers with the pigs…we loved it all. Of all the places I've been, Wilderley has outdone them all. We loved our stay and we will be back.
This enchanting treehouse home is decked out beautifully with Art Nouveau touches and is so comfortable and pretty. It's got a beautiful bathroom with large, hot, powerful shower, which is impressive given that it's a magical treehouse! The bed is so comfy. We stayed in January and the home was still lovely and warm. I hadn't realised that the house is on a working farm and it's such fun to let the chickens out in the morning, feed the pig and meet all of the characterful animals, including alpacas and peacocks. We loved it here. Everyone was so friendly and relaxed and we came home after just one night feeling utterly refreshed and full of beans. Perfect getaway for a couple or for amazing "you time.

If your looking for something a little different then this is the place for you! Set in the beautiful lush countryside this small farm has lots to offer for a night or two away. Animals, a boat to sleep on, cinema pod and even a microlight experience if you're game to take to the air!
The boat was small but cozy and floats in its own pond with wild flowers all around and fields full of birds behind.

Staying at the treehouse shattered all my expectations, I'd strongly recommend booking now before the owners realise how great this place is and put the price up! I felt like I was staying in a work of art rather than a treehouse. Very much regretting not having a go in a plane or walking with an alpaca but I have a feeling I'll be returning!

Goat Camp was the most wonderful place to stay. It was absolutely beautiful, cosy and snug, and set within the most amazing farm. I highly recommend the alpaca walking as it's great fun, and you get to find out all about the history of the farm and the animals that live there. The local recommendations were great, and we had a brilliant time exploring Beccles, Bungay and Southwold. We will certainly be back!

Wow! What an amazing space. The tree house is an incredible place to stay, very creative, unique and well breath taking. You can definitely tell how much time and effort has been put into the tree house. Everything you need for a simple stay, with plenty to find and explore nearby. We loved our one night stay, and can't wait to book again. Celeste, thank you for having us! Your farm is simply beautiful!

The Buddah Barn is a beautiful and peaceful space. Fantastic, friendly hosts all set in a fabulous countryside location. Perfect for us to unwind for a few days and we'll definitely return!

The Apple Wagon is a unique and quirky space. The whole site has a special charm about it. Super friendly and welcoming host. The most comfortable bed I have EVER slept in.
Lovely stay amongst nature. Everyone was friendly and welcoming including the animals.
Thank you so much for letting us stay in the train carriage and allowing us to mooch around the farm, we loved the animals roaming around and loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We were amazed at just how comfy and cosy the carriage was. We kept finding nice little touches throughout, such as the train pillow with lights in!!! I have to say as well, Norwich FM did not disappoint, thanks to the radio in the carriage we could cook in candlelight, drink wine, and had some questionable dance offs to some really cheesy songs. Would highly recommend this to any couple looking to switch off, geek out, and unwind. (Also the method hand sanitiser in the bathroom smelt so nice too, we bought some as soon as we got back!) Thanks again!

My partner and I stayed in the Wilderley Apple Wagon for a few nights and were blown away! The decor inside the wagon was very stylish (70's vibe) and the bed was huge. Despite being a rural experience, the shower was very hot and we had a personal, big fridge outside our wagon. We went for an Alpaca walk (we didn't book the walk or bring wellies but we managed to get some alpacas spontaneously and were kindly given some wellies to use, I do recommend you book and have the right attire!). This walk was great and we ended up seeing and learning about an absolute array of animals, on top of the alpacas. Including a cuddle with a skunk. There was a family atmosphere on the farm and we felt very included. We will be back next year!

We have visited before a couple of years ago to stay in the Goat Camp and had a great time. This time we stayed in the railway carriage and the Brockhurst trailer and we and the kids enjoyed it even more than before as the farm has been expanded a lot and now has a lot more animals as well as the goats and chickens and pig including alpacas, guinea pigs, peacocks and even a skunk! Our two kids were obsessed with hanging out with the animals and it was a struggle to persuade them to leave the farm even to go out for pizza. There always seems to be something going on and Celeste, Kerry and Scott were really friendly and helpful. The accommodation was really comfortable and warm and was fine for doing some limited catering. In the summer you would probably just barbecue on the decking outside. The themed decoration for each cabin is very thoughtfully done and with some really nice touches such as the jerrycan-themed mini bar. We will definitely be back again - it's really hard to think of anything negative to say other than the fact that we have to spend the next few days persuading the kids that we can't fill the garden with chickens and goats!
